Who We Are

Vote NO on the Right to Hunt and Fish. It would bring back cruel and unethical methods like leghold traps and hunting over bait.

Colorado Hunters and Anglers for Sensible Wildlife Conservation

We are a group of Colorado hunters, anglers, sportsmen and women, and other public lands users who supports Colorado’s hunting and fishing traditions, ethical harvest, healthy wildlife populations, and professional, science-based wildlife management that ensures we can carry forward the outdoors traditions that form our way of life. We believe Colorado’s wildlife heritage is strongest when conservation is grounded in sound science, responsible stewardship, and respect for the people who spend time in the field and on the water.

Protecting Healthy Wildlife Populations

Healthy wildlife populations are at the heart of Colorado’s outdoor heritage and conservation future. We support effective management that maintains resilient populations of game and nongame species, while recognizing the complex relationships among wildlife, habitat, water, land use, and people.

Supporting Science-Based Wildlife Management

We believe wildlife management works best when decisions are guided by professional expertise, reliable data, field research, and the best available science, as required by the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation.

Conserving Colorado’s Wildlife Heritage

Colorado’s wildlife belongs to all of us, and protecting it requires a shared commitment to responsible conservation. We advocate for policies that preserve healthy wildlife populations, maintain quality habitat, sustain hunting and fishing opportunities, and promote conscientious, science-based conservation and management of all of Colorado’s wildlife.
